Production terms
Quotes and pricing
We respond to a complete inquiry within 1 business day with preliminary pricing, a photorealistic concept proof, or any questions needed to complete the quote. Product pricing may initially be provided plus shipping. Quotes are valid for 30 days. Pricing is determined by components, customization, and quantity. Placing your finished artwork on your mockup and proof is included; design work performed by our studio bills at $250 per hour in 15 minute increments, added to your invoice. Custom production runs begin at 50 paddles; thermoformed constructions generally start around 100 units. A single custom paddle is available through the One-of-One Custom Paddle program described below, on its own terms. Some minimums are counted in components rather than paddles, and a component minimum never increases your paddle quantity: the paddle run itself can be smaller, you are charged for the component lot, and unused pieces are stored at the factory for up to one year or shipped at your request for additional freight, with the run priced on the quote. Custom colored edge guards are a 1,000 guard lot and edge guard logos are 100 guards. Custom colored neck bands are a 1,000 band lot and custom branded neck bands are 100 bands plus a one-time mold fee. Custom grip tape and custom grip branding are 500 grips. Custom grip caps are 100 caps plus a single one-time mold fee, charged once even when both the color and the branding are custom. Paddle covers are 100 covers. Packaging carries its own minimums.
One-of-One Custom Paddle purchases
The One-of-One Custom Paddle program sells one made-to-order custom paddle at a fixed price through Stripe Checkout, with free shipping to addresses in the United States. These terms apply to One-of-One purchases and take precedence over the production run terms where the two differ; everything else on this page applies to both.
Sequence. Payment is collected at Checkout, before proofing. After payment we prepare a photorealistic production proof of your paddle with your artwork applied and send it to your email. You approve the proof to confirm that we have your artwork and build details right before manufacturing; the proof is not a second decision on the purchase. Manufacturing begins after your written proof approval. If we need your full-resolution artwork files, we request them before the proof.
Timeline. Delivery is estimated at approximately 3 to 4 weeks after final artwork approval, not after checkout. Manufacturing and transit timing are estimates and are not guaranteed. A delay that remains within the disclosed estimate is not grounds for a refund.
Final sale. A One-of-One is a custom product made specifically for you. It is final sale and non-refundable from the moment of purchase, including if you change your mind, later wish you had chosen a different option, or approve a proof and later dislike an accurately manufactured result. Sales tax, where applicable, is calculated at Checkout and is not included in the displayed price.
Our obligations. Final sale never means we may deliver the wrong paddle. If we materially manufacture the wrong specification or print because of our error, we make it right through correction, remake, or replacement as appropriate. Shipping damage and true manufacturer defects remain covered by the inspection window and warranty below. If we are unable to fulfil the purchased build, we will cancel and refund it rather than hold you to an order we cannot make.
Artwork and design work. You must hold the rights or permission to use any artwork, logos, marks and names you submit, and you are responsible for confirming spelling, colors and placement on the proof. Placing and refining your supplied artwork is included. Substantial creative or design work beyond that is handled in correspondence under the design services terms above and is not unlimited.
Geography. At launch, One-of-One paddles ship to United States addresses only. Production run manufacturing remains available worldwide.
Proof approval
For production runs, every run begins with a photoreal mockup of your paddle with your graphics applied, refined with you and provided before any production payment. Production does not begin until you approve the proof in writing. You are responsible for confirming the accuracy of artwork, spelling, and colors on the approved proof, and for holding the rights to any artwork you submit.
Production and delivery
Product pricing may initially be provided plus shipping. Shipping is calculated separately and confirmed with the factory once the design, specification, quantity, destination, packaging, and shipping method are sufficiently complete, and it is identified separately on the formal quote and invoice before payment. Shipping is quoted DDP, so freight, tariffs, customs, and import handling are accounted for before payment and there is no separate import bill after your paddles are finished. Factory production begins after payment and final artwork approval: cold pressed in approximately 12 business days, thermoformed in approximately 25 business days. Air Express DDP runs approximately 7 to 10 days and Sea Freight DDP approximately 30 to 40 days, subject to final factory confirmation. Production and transit timings are estimates, not guarantees. Approximately 90 percent of normal orders fall within expected timing; Chinese holidays, material availability, and highly customized projects can alter schedules. Your molds, artwork, and approved proof stay on file, and remaining component stock, including edge guard lots and packaging, is held for your future orders, so reorders skip setup and can be expedited to keep your paddles in stock.

Artwork, tolerances, and variation
You are responsible for owning or holding permission to use all artwork, logos, and marks you submit, and for their intellectual property compliance. Screen to print color variation and normal production to sample variation are inherent to manufacturing; material lots, including carbon fiber rolls, vary within normal ranges. Certification testing and fees are separate from manufacturing, and certification approval is never guaranteed.
Material availability and substitution
If a specified material becomes unavailable within your production window, we will propose the closest available equivalent and obtain your written approval before substituting. We do not substitute materials silently.
Change orders
Changes requested after proof approval are change orders. We will confirm any effect on pricing and timeline in writing before proceeding, and work already performed, including design time, completed production stages, and procured components, is billable.
Cancellation
This section applies to production runs and sample builds; One-of-One purchases are final sale as described above. Orders may be cancelled in writing before proof approval, with payments refunded less work already performed, including design time, sample costs, and procured components. Because every run is manufactured to your specification, orders cannot be cancelled once production begins, and completed custom goods are not returnable except under the inspection and warranty terms above.
Risk of loss and delivery
Shipping is quoted DDP on the formal invoice, and we manage freight, customs, and import handling. Risk of loss passes on delivery to your specified address. Report shipping damage within the 7 day inspection window.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. Larger and enterprise programs may be governed by separate written agreements, which control where they conflict with this page.
Payment
One-of-One purchases are paid in full at Stripe Checkout. Production orders are invoiced and paid through Stripe. Orders under $5,000 are paid in full at order. Orders of $5,000 or more are paid 50 percent plus shipping cost at order, with the remaining 50 percent due before shipment. Expedited orders are paid in full at order. Eligible credit-card payments may carry a processing surcharge of up to 3 percent, where permitted and disclosed before payment. Debit cards are not surcharged. ACH bank-payment fees, when applicable, are disclosed on the invoice before payment. Any fee is itemized on your invoice.
Satisfaction guarantee, inspection, and warranty
We stand behind every run with a satisfaction guarantee. Inspect your shipment within 7 days of delivery for print errors, obvious manufacturing defects, or other problems, and report any issues to info@impactpaddle.com with your order details and photos of the affected units.
Beyond the inspection window, every paddle is covered by a 1 year manufacturer defect warranty against delamination, edge guard failures, and similar manufacturing defects. At our discretion we will refund or replace affected paddles. The warranty covers manufacturing defects, not normal wear or damage from play or misuse.
USAP approval
Unless a project calls for a different specification, iMPACT generally develops paddles toward current USA Pickleball dimensional and performance requirements. That design target is not the same as testing or approval. A paddle may be described as USA Pickleball Approved only after the governing body has tested and approved that exact model. Testing, submission paddles, and governing-body fees are separate from manufacturing, and approval is never guaranteed. Material changes can require separate certification, and an approval mark must not be used without approval for the exact model.
