Who Makes Your Paddle: An Introduction to iMPACT Pickleball

iMPACT Pickleball is a custom paddle manufacturer. We build paddles to specification for brands, facilities, organizations and, one at a time, for individual players, on a production line we are invested partners in. This post is a plain description of what that means.

What we make

Everything we make is built to order. A production run starts at 50 paddles for cold pressed construction and 100 for thermoformed. Samples First builds 3 to 10 identical paddles so a customer can hold the product before committing to a run. The One-of-One program makes a single custom paddle to an individual's design on the same line.

Every part of the paddle can carry the brand: full face artwork edge to edge, edge guards, grips, neck bands, grip caps, covers and retail packaging. Every part of the build can match how the customer wants it to play: face material, core, thickness, texture, shape, handle length, weight and balance.

Who we build for

Most of what we manufacture does not carry the iMPACT name. Paddle brands, custom paddle companies, promotional agencies, distributors and product companies have us build private label, white label and fully custom paddles under NDA. Facilities order house paddles, demo paddles and branded retail. Companies, teams and organizations order paddles as gifts, event pieces and merchandise. Founders launch paddle companies through our Your Paddle Company program.

How a build works

You send us what you have: a logo, a sketch, a reference paddle, a goal, a budget, a quantity, or a full specification. We respond within one business day with preliminary pricing, a concept proof or the questions we need answered to quote. Before production, you receive a photorealistic mockup of your paddle with your graphics applied, and nothing goes to production until you approve it.

Production runs alongside the other paddles the line produces each month, with the same materials, inspection and QC as the national brands manufactured there. Every finished paddle is inspected. Production specifications and master samples are retained so reorders match. Shipping is quoted DDP, with freight, tariffs, customs and import handling accounted for before payment.

Certification

When a paddle will be used in sanctioned play, we design with a safety margin, validate by testing, and support USA Pickleball and UPA-A submissions. Testing and approval fees are paid to the governing bodies and approval is never guaranteed, but the process is one we run regularly.

The other half

A portion of each production run funds paddle, net and ball donations to elementary school PE and after-school programs. That commitment predates the manufacturing business and it is still part of every run.
