Service Overview
Our Product Escrow Service offers a layer of protection to both buyers and sellers, preventing scams and ensuring that both parties fulfill their end of the agreement. For a fee of $19 (each party must submit a separate order), Product Escrow manages the entire transaction, from receiving items to verifying them, and finally, dispatching them to the intended recipient.
How It Works
1. Place Your Order: Click the “Order Product Escrow” link and complete the order form. Each party must agree to use the service. Each party must order and pay separately
2. Ship to Us: Each party is responsible for shipping their item to our secure location in Columbus, Ohio. Shipping to Product Escrow is not included in the service fee and is the sender’s responsibility.
3. Product Verification: Once both items are received, we inspect each item to ensure it matches the description provided by each party.
4. Exchange & Shipping: If both items meet the agreed-upon condition, we ship each item to the respective recipient via UPS. All packages shipped from us are insured up to $200 (by UPS) and will require a signature at delivery.
5. Non-Compliance: If one party fails to send their item, we return the item received to its original sender, maintaining integrity and security for all parties involved.
Important Disclaimers and Terms
• Non-Refundable Service Fee: The $19 service fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, including cancellations, disputes, or non-shipment from either party.
• Shipping Fees: Each party is responsible for shipping their item to Product Escrow. The $19 service fee covers only the cost of shipping items from our facility to the respective recipient (or back to the original sender in the case of default).
• Packaging Requirements: Items must be shipped in secure, reusable packaging. If the packaging cannot be reused, an additional fee will apply to cover the cost of repackaging before shipping to the recipient.
• Inspection and Verification: Product Escrow will conduct a visual inspection of each item received to ensure it generally matches the description provided. However, we do not guarantee the item’s condition or functionality beyond this basic check.
• Liability for Shipping Damage or Loss: Product Escrow is not responsible for any damage or loss that occurs during transit, either to our facility or from our facility to the recipient. All packages shipped from Product Escrow are insured up to $200 (by UPS) and require a signature upon delivery.
• Insurance Coverage: Insurance covers up to $200 per package. For items of higher value, additional insurance must be arranged by the sender prior to shipping to our facility. Product Escrow does not offer additional insurance beyond the $200 standard.
• No Responsibility for Item Descriptions: Product Escrow is not responsible for verifying detailed descriptions or functionality of items. We perform only a basic visual inspection to confirm that the item received generally resembles the description provided by the sender. We do not accept responsibility for any misrepresentation, undisclosed damages, or issues discovered post-exchange.
• Non-Shipment by One Party: If one party fails to ship their item, the other party’s item will be returned to its original sender. No refund or additional compensation will be provided to the compliant party or non-compliant party
• Limitations of Liability: Product Escrow assumes no liability for any issues arising from the transaction beyond the scope of our service. This includes, but is not limited to, the quality, functionality, condition, or authenticity of the items exchanged.
• Right to Refuse Service: Product Escrow reserves the right to refuse or cancel service at any time, at its sole discretion. In such cases, any items received will be returned to their original sender.

1. What happens if my item is damaged in transit?
While we ensure each item is securely packed, Product Escrow is not liable for damage occurring during transit. Packages shipped from our facility are insured up to $200, and additional insurance can be arranged by the sender if needed. Insurance is provided by UPS and all claims must be processed by UPS

5. What packaging should I use?
Items should be packed in durable, reusable packaging. If the original packaging is unsuitable for re-shipping, an additional fee will be applied for repackaging. We recommend a small flat box or large padded envelope.
