SALES PARTNER

Build a business around
the people you know.

Help clubs, businesses and brands create paddles with their own identity. You open the conversation, guide the customer and keep the opportunity moving. We bring the design tools, product knowledge and manufacturing team. This is an independent, commission-only role for people who enjoy selling and following through.

WHAT YOU ACTUALLY DO

Find the buyer.
Stay with the opportunity.

  1. Open the conversation. Reach clubs, facilities, local businesses, event organizers and emerging paddle brands.
  2. Understand the project. Learn who the paddles are for, what they should look like and how many the buyer needs.
  3. Bring the idea to life. Help the customer use the Build Room, gather their artwork and work with iMPACT on the specification.
  4. Move the deal forward. Present the approved quote, follow up on samples and help turn a good idea into a production order.
  5. Build the relationship. Stay in touch and develop qualifying repeat business.
WHAT’S BEHIND YOU

  • Product training and sales playbooks
  • Build Room design tools and customer materials
  • A Deal Room to keep every opportunity organized
  • Direct iMPACT support when a customer needs an answer

THE OPPORTUNITY IN ONE ORDER

A club’s idea.
A production order.
A $1,000 commission.

Imagine helping a club launch its own branded paddle. You develop the relationship and guide the project to its first production run.

Customer sale$7,500
Commissionable gross profit$4,000
Your Sales Partner commission$1,00025% × $4,000

Illustrative order, not a quote or guaranteed earnings. Actual commissions depend on confirmed order economics and program rules; the required funds must clear and manufacturing must begin before commission is earned. Approval and payout follow the program rules.

01 · WHAT THE WORK ACTUALLY IS

Find the opportunity, then stay with it.

You ownProspecting, introductions, qualification, follow-up, keeping the buyer engaged, helping create the build, moving samples toward a production decision, and maintaining the relationship.
iMPACT ownsTechnical feasibility, factory communication, artwork review, final quote, payment collection, production, freight, certification coordination, warranty, and customer-service obligations.
02 · THE RELATIONSHIP

Independent, flexible, commission-only.

  • No salary or hourly wage.
  • No employee benefits or guaranteed earnings.
  • You choose your schedule and prospecting methods, within program rules.
  • You are responsible for your ordinary expenses and tax obligations.
  • U.S. partners complete a W-9 and may receive required tax reporting.
  • You do not have authority to bind iMPACT, set final pricing, accept money personally, or promise delivery/certification.

The agreement is intended to structure an independent-contractor relationship. Legal classification depends on the real working relationship and applicable law, not only the label in an agreement.

03 · WHAT YOU CAN SELL

Several doors. Production is the goal.

Business & facility productionCustom paddles for retail, member programs, events, gifting, promotions, facilities, clubs, agencies and organizations.
Samples firstA qualified production buyer can test the intended specification before committing to the run. The partner's real job is converting the sample into manufacturing business.
Paddle-company developmentFor founders or existing audiences building a real branded product and inventory plan.
One-of-OneAn individual custom paddle with a tracked fixed commission. Useful, but not the core Sales Partner opportunity.
DESIGN SUPPORT · FROM IDEA TO ARTWORK

An idea is enough to start.

Graphic design is an important part of what we do. iMPACT can help develop ideas from scratch, refine an existing direction and prepare paddle artwork for review. Your customer does not need a finished design or their own designer to begin.

Included placement vs. creative designPlacing an existing logo or graphic is included. Recreating artwork or designing the paddle face is paid creative work at $250 per hour in 15-minute increments ($62.50 each). Most customers can get surprisingly far in the Builder; message iMPACT before promising paid design scope.
Preferred artwork filesEditable AI, EPS, SVG or vector PDF files are preferred. We can sometimes work with high-resolution PNGs after reviewing their quality and intended use. Send original source files whenever you have them.
Have a logo, a rough sketch or just an idea? Start there. Keep the creative brief and files in the opportunity so iMPACT can help develop the design alongside the paddle build.
YOUR NEXT CUSTOMER MAY ALREADY BE IN YOUR WORLD

Who do you know?

You do not need to start with strangers. Think about the businesses you visit, the groups you belong to and the people who already trust you. Custom paddles can become retail merchandise, event experiences, customer thank-you gifts or employee gifts.

Clubs & courtsPickleball facilities, country clubs, tennis clubs, pro shops, leagues, tournament directors, recreation centers, coaches and camps.
Events & hospitalityBreweries, wineries, event centers, event planners, hotels, resorts, ski resorts, wedding planners, conference organizers and destination programs.
Local businesses & client giftsCar dealerships, realtors, real estate brokers, mortgage brokers, insurance agencies, investment advisors, accounting firms, law firms and home builders.
Retail & product brandsSmall sports retailers, outdoor stores, sporting goods shops, product companies, lifestyle brands, apparel companies, paddle startups and online communities.
Teams & organizationsEmployers, employee recognition programs, corporate wellness teams, sales teams, alumni groups, schools, universities, nonprofits, fundraisers and community associations.
People who connect the buyersMarketing agencies, promotional product distributors, brand consultants, sponsorship teams, HR leaders, executive assistants and client appreciation coordinators.
Start with five names. Who reaches a group of players, runs an event, buys branded merchandise or thanks customers? Ask what the paddles would accomplish, who would receive them and whether a 50-paddle cold-press or 100-paddle thermoformed run fits. You are looking for a useful business conversation, not a promise to buy.
04 · HOW A DEAL MOVES

One opportunity. One deal room.

Register the buyer before requesting company work. The opportunity becomes the permanent home for the contact, build revision, files, partner/iMPACT conversation, quote request, factory status, customer quote, payment, sample follow-up, production status, and commission record.

Do not create a new email thread every time the design changes. Keep the current build and current question attached to the opportunity so both sides can see exactly where the project stands.
05 · BUILD → IMPACT PRICING → CUSTOMER APPROVAL

One submitted build. One clear approval path.

  1. Create the linked Build Room design with the customer and review the final submission together.
  2. Submit the build. That submission creates the quote request for that exact revision; do not create a second request for the same build.
  3. iMPACT reviews the specification, gets current factory product and freight pricing, and publishes the approved customer quote. Factory economics remain private.
  4. The Sales Partner reviews the customer-facing quote, then emails its secure approval link from the Deal Room.
  5. The customer approves the current quote or requests changes and chooses ACH / wire or credit card for the approved invoice amount.
  6. After approval, iMPACT prepares and sends the invoice. The customer pays iMPACT directly. The partner never takes customer funds personally.
06 · SAMPLES ARE A SALES STAGE

The sample is not the finish line.

A sample buyer should already have a credible path to a production order. After delivery, the opportunity automatically moves into sample follow-up instead of being treated as a completed sale.

  • Confirm receipt and first impressions.
  • Collect changes in one revision list.
  • Get the final production quantity and destination.
  • Submit the revised build for a current production quote.
  • Follow up until the buyer makes the production decision.
07 · COMPENSATION

Reward the work that creates the manufacturing order.

Current Sales Partner structure: 25% of commissionable gross profit on the initial qualifying sample order, 25% again on the first qualifying production run, then 10% on qualifying production reorders for 12 months from the first production order. One-of-One remains $20.

This avoids treating the sample as the “first order” and then cutting the partner to a reorder rate when they do the harder work of converting the buyer into actual production. Only the initial qualifying sample order would receive the sample commission unless iMPACT approves an exception.

Commission is not earned merely because a quote is accepted. iMPACT confirms the real direct costs manually from the factory. Commission becomes approvable only after customer funds clear and the applicable sample or production manufacturing has begun.

09 · WHO DOES WELL HERE

Make your relationships the starting point.

The strongest partners understand a customer group, are comfortable opening business conversations, follow up consistently, use the portal instead of improvising technical answers, and keep opportunities moving. iMPACT provides the product, factory infrastructure, tools, training and support. The partner supplies the relationship-building and selling effort.

REFERRAL PARTNER

Make the introduction.

Referral Partner is the simpler lane. You identify a credible buyer and make a qualified introduction. iMPACT handles consultation, build development, quoting, follow-up, payment, production and customer service.

01 · WHAT YOU DO

Bring us a real opportunity, not just a name.

A useful referral includes a real buyer or path to the decision-maker, a credible use for custom paddles, and enough context for iMPACT to continue the conversation. You are not expected to run the full sales cycle.

02 · WHAT YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DO

No sales academy. No technical selling.

Referral Partners do not complete the Sales Partner sales curriculum or test message. You do complete the agreement, W-9 and payout setup, then receive your referral link and introduction tools.

03 · AFTER THE INTRODUCTION

iMPACT takes the wheel.

iMPACT qualifies the technical project, creates or reviews the build, handles the factory, quotes the customer, collects payment, manufactures and supports the order. Your referral remains attributed according to the program rules.

Need help with the design? iMPACT offers graphic design services, including developing ideas from scratch. Design is typically billed at $250 per hour in 15-minute increments ($62.50 per increment). We prefer editable AI, EPS, SVG or vector PDF artwork and can sometimes work with high-resolution PNGs after review.

04 · COMPENSATION

A clear reward for the introduction.

Current Referral Partner structure: 10% of commissionable gross profit on the initial qualifying sample, 10% again on the first qualifying production run, 5% on qualifying production reorders for 12 months from the first production order, and $20 on an attributed One-of-One.

Prefer introductions over active selling?

Create your account and password, then complete your profile, Referral Partner agreement, W-9, payout instructions and email verification. You receive your referral tools without the Sales Partner curriculum or sales workload.
